WAM’s upcoming special exhibition ‘Past and Present’ will be free to visitors
For a three-month period, all exhibitions at the Wichita Art Museum will be free to visit.

New art acquisitions — more than 20 of which have never before been on view — will be included in the exhibition "Past & Present: Celebrating New Acquisitions and Collection Highlights at the Wichita Art Museum." These new artworks will be paired with WAM favorites that have been collected over the past 90 years.
WAM is showing the new and old in its collection in an effort to celebrate American art in all its beauty, complexity, and diversity. See 65 paintings, sculptures, and textiles by important American artists of the past and present.
This exhibition will be on view Saturday, October 10, 2026 through Sunday, January 3, 2027.
