Joe Worley is crowdfunding for his annual horror anthology 'Death Itself'

Anna Andersen reviewed Volume 2 in 2025. This year's 34-page comic anthology will feature four short stories from Midwestern artists.

The Kickstarter page for Vol. 4 lists the new stories and their contributors: "Warriors" (Colton Strathman and Worley), "4 Horsemen" (Chris Garcia and Worley), and "The Existential Library" (Katherine Conrad). Kevin Mellon, storyboard artist for "Archer" and the director of Marvel's "Hit Monkey," will contribute a story that has yet to be announced.

The campaign launched on October 6 and is set to wrap up by November 5.

But take heed, reader: Worley warns in a video that "their four horror shorts will leave you crying for mommy."

You can help Worley produce the new volume by donating to the Kickstarter for as little as $6 (which gets you a digital version of the anthology). Hard copies are available for $9 plus shipping, and donors can opt for pricier packages that include custom portraits.

D. Vour makes the top three on 'King of Drag'

Wichita drag king D. Vour is one of eight contestants on Season 2 of the reality game show. On episode 5, which aired Sunday, he won both challenges and made it into the top three. Though he's earned fans with his artistry and horror aesthetic, this was D. Vour's first win.

"King of Drag" airs at 8 p.m. on Sundays on the streaming platform Revry. U.S. viewers can watch for free on the Revry app or online.

Three episodes remain. If you want to watch with a crowd, join D. Vour at Rain Bistro and Lounge at 7 p.m. every Tuesday through November 10. The last watch party will include performances from local kings.
