WICHITA — The "sober-active" community Phoenix Wichita will host a free evening of storytelling from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, at Harvester Arts at The Lux, 120 E. 1st St. Suite 115. The event is sponsored by Downtown Wichita.
During the event, Owen Davis, Holly Byers, Cody Palmer, Roz Hutchinson, and Tony Ballard — all members of The Phoenix community — will take the stage to share personal stories of navigating hard times, finding strength, and building fuller, more meaningful lives. The narratives explore themes of self-acceptance, resilience, belonging, and the transformative power of connection.

"Together, the speakers offer an inspiring evening of shared experiences and hope," according to a press release issued by The Phoenix.
Guests are invited to arrive at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary custom-made pumpkin spice mocktail provided by Viva la Olive. The storytelling program will run from 7-8 p.m.
Admission is free, but space is limited. Guests are encouraged to reserve their seats in advance at www.thephoenix.org/wichita.
