The SHOUT June arts calendar

It's officially festival season, y'all: Riverfest, Elsewhere Fest, JuneteenthICT & Wichita Pride. Plus concerts, theater, indie film screenings, art openings, drag, "creative exchanges" & lots more.

The SHOUT June arts calendar
This painting recalls another favorite summer activity: sitting on the couch and basking in air conditioning. “'A really nice guy,' (in progress)” is on view in "Rachel Curtis: Dissolution" at the Wichita Art Museum. Read our review of the exhibition. Image courtesy of the artist.

Happy summer! You'll find our complete June arts and culture calendar below.

Two programs offer free admission to museums and cultural organizations in Wichita and around Kansas. The Sunflower Summer program from the Kansas Department of Tourism offers families free admission to more than 100 attractions across the state from May 25-August 11. Additionally, the Wichita Public Library has added Experience Passes to its Library of Things. Patrons may check out a free "family pack" of passes to 10 area attractions, including Botanica, the Sedgwick County Zoo, and Exploration Place.

As events are subject to change, we recommend you confirm details with the venue or host organization before attending.
