"Women Series Revisited: 2005-2008," an exhibition by Barbara Waterman Peters, is on view at Gold City Gallery in El Dorado through June 20.

The storefront gallery at 112 N. Main St. is a project of Rachel Curtis, a painter who also teaches art at Butler Community College. "Women Series Revisited" is the first solo exhibition in the gallery's new location.

The gallery has not yet established regular hours, so I would recommend reaching out via its Facebook or Instagram accounts or emailing goldcitygalleryks@gmail.com before you pay a visit. It's worth the effort to see these wonderfully bizarre works. — Emily Christensen
