Wichita Big Screen's Leif Jonker has organized two horror movie series this fall, all double features. Septober Fright Fest at the Starlite Drive-In begins Friday and Saturday with a showing of "Freddy vs. Jason" and "Jason X." Five more double features will play at the south Wichita drive-in theater through October 26.

The Old Town Horror Movie Festival will screen double features every Wednesday in October beginning with "Day of the Dead" and "The Crazies" next Wednesday, October 1 at the Boulevard Theatres Old Town. This is the 10th year Jonker has organized a horror series at the multiplex in Old Town Square, which has had three owners in the past decade.
